Boise Consumer Cooperative in Boise, ID is seeking a part-time cook for weekends and evenings in the Deli Department. You will prepare fresh, high-quality dishes, follow approved recipes, and uphold food safety standards.

Qualifications

Love making great food and keeping things running smoothly in the kitchen?We're looking for an experienced cook who will prepare fresh, high-quality dishes that keep our customers coming back for more. You’ll follow approved recipes, uphold food safety standards, and work closely with your teammates to keep production flowing and the Grab & Go cases full.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and cook food according to Co-op recipes to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
• Plan and manage daily production based on forecasted sales and department needs.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and health regulations.
• Keep Grab & Go stations clean, stocked, and ready for customers.

Physical Demands & Working Environment

This role keeps you active! You’ll be on your feet, lifting up to 50 lbs., reaching, bending, and using step stools or ladders as needed. Expect a lively kitchen environment with collaboration, creativity, and plenty of delicious smells. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and used when working with equipment. It’s a fast-paced, team-focused setting where no two days are the same.
