• Must have knowledge of food preparation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Inspect diet trays and work with the facility dietician.
• Ensure menus are maintained and reviewed prior to food preparation.

Type: Part-Time/On-Call

Shift: Various schedule, Weekend availability needed; On-Call, All shifts available

Wage: $18.34-23.93/hr DOE

Benefits: Employee Medical Benefits starting at $17.50 per pay period for Regence or Kaiser for full-time employees.

Attendance bonus: The perfect attendance bonus in a pay period will be $100.00 for a full-time employee and $75.00 for a part-time employee.

Location: Avamere at Sandy - 17727 SE Langensand Rd., Sandy, OR 97055

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable, appetizing in appearance and in accordance with established portion control procedures on a timely basis
• Inspect diet trays; work with the facility dietician and process diet change received from Nursing Services
• Coordinate food service with other departments
• Ensure that food and supplies for the next meal are readily available
• Ensure that menus are maintained and reviewed prior to preparation of food
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis
