Job summary

Bally's Corporation is seeking a Cook to safely prepare food items across all outlets, following recipes for appetizing, consistent plates. You will help ensure picture-perfect presentation and collaborate with kitchen staff to meet service needs.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, and strong customer service and teamwork skills. Flexibility for late nights, weekends, and holidays is expected to support business operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Operate kitchen equipment (slicer, steamer, fryer, oven, grill, mixer, kettle, etc.).
• Prepare all food items according to recipes and measurements.
• Prepare hot and cold sauces.
• Ensure consistent product delivery to customers.
• Check station for proper setup and cleanliness before/during/after shifts.
• Work with staff to cook, prepare, dish-up and assemble meals for outlets.

Job description

The Role:

The Cook safely prepares food items, following menu specifications and standard recipes, for service to customers in all outlets. The Cook strives for picture-perfect plate presentation.

Responsibilities:

• Operate all necessary kitchen equipment including, but not limited to, slicer, steamer, deep fryer, oven, broiler, grill, mixer, kettle, braiser, flattop and knives.
• Accurately prepare all food items according to established measurements and recipes.
• Prepare hot and cold sauces.
• Ensure consistent product delivery to the customer.
• Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Actively participate with staff to cook, prepare, dish-up and assemble all food for assigned outlet(s).

Competencies:

• Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• High school diploma / GED is required.
