Job Description

At SeaWorld, we're passionate about caring for animals. Join us to bring joy, excitement, and lasting memories to visitors. We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working individuals to become our Ambassadors. Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing high-quality food that meets SeaWorld standards following menu specifications
• Following all safety and HACCP guidelines, using proper protective gear, and testing food temperatures
• Overseeing final food quality
• Utilizing advanced kitchen equipment including open flame grills, smokers, steam kettles, woks, and bakery machinery
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all areas
• Incorporating allergen knowledge into dietary meal preparation
• Interacting with guests and delivering excellent service
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work with all food types, including allergens, in any dining facility
• Strong communication skills in English
• At least one year of cooking experience or relevant culinary coursework
• Basic knife skills
• Ability to pass SafeStaff and Responsible Vendor training
• Ability to train on and use protective gear and kitchen equipment
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prepare dietary meals
• Knowledge of food safety and allergens is a plus

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

• Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs
• Extensive walking, standing, and climbing
• Perform physical activities like kneeling, squatting, reaching, grasping, and fine manipulation
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
