Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Position Summary

The Cook is responsible for preparing menu items using cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high food quality standards, portion control, food waste management, and sanitation.

Responsibilities
  • Cook and package food to order or keep warm until sold.
  • Receive verbal orders from front counter staff.
  • Maintain quality and production standards for all menu items.
  • Control portions and serving temperatures.
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and displays.
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper food storage at end of shift, supervised by Floor Supervisor.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance.
Qualifications
  • Effective communication skills with staff and guests.
  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Valid food handling certificate if required by regulations.
