Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is actively seeking a Cook to work part-time at our Skilled Nursing Facility in New Haven, CT. The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale cooking within a healthcare setting and excellent customer service skills.

Duties Include:

1. Preparation, cooking, and service of various foods
2. Baking rolls, cookies, cakes, and pies
3. Working on tray line during meal service
4. Kitchen cleanup and sanitation
5. Hand washing and sanitizing pots and pans
6. Other related tasks as required

Requirements:

• Certification in healthcare cooking (ServSafe or Sodexo)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in large-scale cooking
• Knowledge of therapeutic food preparation
• Ability to perform physical tasks
• Strong team player skills
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage kitchen in absence of Food Service Director
