The 365-bed facility is one of the largest free-standing psychiatric hospitals in the United States. We are located on a serene 37-acre campus in northeast Shelby County, serving as the setting for the treatment for children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and seniors. Job Description

The Culinary Cook participates in the provision of quality meals and nutritional services to patients, staff, and guests in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health System.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Education: Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Prefer prior culinary experience in a restaurant, casual or fine dining kitchen, hospital, health care, or hospitality setting. Experience with Buffets, Banquets, or EDR kitchens preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Serve Safe Certification preferred.
