Job summary

The Addison of Cherry Hill in Cherry Hill, NJ, seeks a dedicated cook to provide high-quality meals for residents, guests and staff. You will prepare all food using the daily planner and Senior Lifestyle standard recipes, and work the food line during mealtimes.

You will ensure food safety and sanitation, respond quickly to resident needs, and maintain a positive demeanor toward residents and coworkers, supporting the HEART mission. Hourly rate is $19.50.

Qualifications

• Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets preferred.
• Clear English communication required.
• Willingness to obtain needed food handling and sanitation licenses.
• Basic computer skills, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

Qualifications

• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
