Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation seeks a hardworking kitchen associate to prepare meals per daily planner and standard recipes. You will assist on the food line during mealtimes and ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.

You will respond promptly to resident and guest needs and maintain a positive, professional demeanor with all residents and staff. The role requires clear English communication, basic computer skills (Excel/Word) and willingness to obtain required food handling

Qualifications

• Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets preferred.
• Clear English communication.
• Food handling and sanitation licenses or willingness to obtain.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Excel and Word.

• You have and/or are willing to obtain the necessary food handling and sanitation licenses.
• You have basic computer skills. Entry level proficiency with Excel and Word is required.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
