Job Opportunity: Part-Time Cook

We are hiring immediately for a part-time COOK position at Touchpoint, located at 2015 Jackson Street, Anderson, IN 46016. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time, Monday through Friday, including every other weekend. Hours may vary; more details provided during interview.

Requirements: Previous cook experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay Range: $16.00 to $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepare food according to standards, ensuring quality and safety. Maintain cleanliness, operate kitchen equipment, assist in planning and ordering, and follow safety protocols including HACCP standards.

Essential Duties

1. Prepare high-quality food following recipes and standards.
2. Serve meals, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
3. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas.
4. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
5. Assist with inventory, ordering, and record-keeping.
6. Report maintenance issues promptly.
7. Participate in safety and in-service meetings.
8. Maintain positive relationships with team members and customers.
9. Follow all safety and company policies, including proper use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and safe lifting techniques.
