Overview:

Full Time, Part Time, and PRN positions available!

These positions are located at Mercy Hospital Washington, 901 E Fifth St., Washington, MO 63090.

The individual in this role is responsible for food production across all areas of the department. A knowledge of all cooking methods is required to produce quality, visually appealing products within designated time frames. Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Jefferson and Springfield: Food Handlers certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Skills, knowledge, and abilities: Excellent integrity, initiative, good moral character, basic math skills, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions and Requirements:
  • Equipment Used: All food prep equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, steamer. Ability to push, pull, grip 50 pounds, and pinch 10 pounds.
  • Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
