Job summary

Stovepipe Wells Village in Death Valley National Park, operated by POWDR, is seeking a Cook to support multiple eateries. You will work in a team, follow safety rules, know menu items, and help maintain clean, labeled storage and compliance with CA Food Handling standards.

Ability to obtain a CA Food Handler Certification and at least 2 years in food & beverage is required. On-site housing may be available; flexible schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• CA Food Handlers Certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of food & beverage experience required.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from F&B Management team.
• Communicate with kitchen staff, visitors, servers and coworkers.
• Know all menu items, ingredients, processes, documentation and labelling practices.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work areas with proper labeling and storage.
• Complete all food safety checks and hygiene protocols.
• Open to education, training and continuous learning.
• Stock and organize supplies and items in a maintained environment.
• Work on-site and support kitchen operations.
