Job Opening: Cook (On Call)

Restaurant Associates is seeking an on-call Cook at our NYMM F&B Staff Cafe, located at 1535 Broadway, New York, NY 10036. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: On-call, Sunday through Saturday, hours may vary. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Basic culinary experience required.

Pay Range: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Essential Duties

• Prepare high-quality food items following recipes and instructions.
• Serve meals with proper portioning and temperature, ensuring attractiveness and taste.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and record-keeping.
• Follow safety policies, including proper use of gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes.
