• We are hiring immediately for on call COOK positions.
• Location: Mayo Clinic - 1221 Whipple Street, Eau Claire, WI 54703. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: On call schedules. Days may vary, including alternating weekends and holidays, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: One year of previous cook experience is required.
• Pay Range: $18.50 per hour to $18.75 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items per recipes to meet schedules.
• Serves meals with correct portioning, proper temperature, and attractive presentation. Tastes all prepared food.
• Follows ticket collection procedures and maintains records during service.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and stores excess food safely.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms organized and clean.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
• Follows safety standards, including HACCP and proper use of protective equipment.
