Job summary

A Cincinnati-based brewery is seeking a Cook to enhance guest experiences by preparing high-quality and flavorful dishes. You will play a key role in the kitchen by ensuring food quality and presentation meets our standards. The ideal candidate should have a positive mindset, be adaptable to kitchen organization, and actively participate in community-building efforts. Availability on week nights and weekends is required. Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Cook, you will directly impact the guest experience through delivering high-quality food that exceeds expectations in presentation and flavor. As the heartbeat of the kitchen team, you will drive the efficiency of food service operations through the preparation and execution of our diverse menu. POSITION

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Preparing & cooking a variety of menu items, including pizzas, nachos, sandwiches, salads, and shareable foods, to fulfill individual guest and private event orders.
  • Delivering consistent and quality food, upholding the kitchen's quality standards & procedures for each menu item for freshness, taste, and presentation.
  • Delivering a warm and welcoming experience to all guests; facilitating all guest requests and needs, and resolving any guest concerns or issues.
  • Communicating with your fellow cooks, dishwashers, food runners and leadership throughout your shift and on the line to ensure everyone is on the same page and working together.
  • Working in all areas of the kitchen, including prep, pizza line, salad/fry, expo; as well as occasionally working the dish pit and running out food, if necessary.
