Position Overview

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Cook/Nutritional Services Aid to prepare therapeutic and modified diets for patients. This part-time, entry-level position offers a base pay of $17.00/hr and provides opportunities for growth within a nationally recognized organization.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare therapeutic and modified diets according to menus and recipes.
  • Ensure proper portioning and presentation of food.
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines, including H.A.C.C.P. standards.
  • Assist in planning and timing food preparation to meet service needs.
Qualifications
  • Food handler's permit (if required by state or local regulations).
  • Training in therapeutic diet preparation preferred.
  • Experience in institutional cooking or special function cooking is a plus.
