Overview

Do you know how to slice, dice and julienne your way around a kitchen? If you've got excellent knife skills, we’ve got the position for you! We are looking for experienced food lovers to join our cook team at our Nugget Markets Kitchen within our Woodland warehouse. These are full time positions. Shifts for this position range as early as 10:00am to 9:00pm.

*Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include prepping large amounts of produce and some proteins for our high-quality, ready-to-eat foods such as salads, guacamole, salsas and other side dishes while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. This position could involve working in extreme cold temperatures for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

You should meet the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have proficient knowledge and use of commercial kitchen equipment
  • Must have excellent knife skills
  • Background working in high volume setting, either in hotels or institutional cooking
  • Good communication skills and an eye for detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • A positive attitude is essential
