Join a passionate team dedicated to improving the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring a Cook at Lake Granbury Youth Services.

LGYS is a secure residential program for at-risk male youth, located at 1300 Crosland Rd, Granbury, TX. Our trained staff promote a normalized high school experience, provide a safe environment, and offer opportunities for positive change and growth. Our campus includes residential dormitories, an on-site school and library, vocational training, medical facilities, and outdoor recreation areas. We welcome all passionate individuals eager to make a difference. Join us and grow with us.

Pay: $17.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

What you will do: As a Cook, you will prepare and serve healthy, tasty food to youth and staff, maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness and safety, and be an active team player. Training is provided; related experience and ServSafe certification may qualify you for a higher starting level.

Requirements: Be at least 21 years old, pass criminal background, drug, physical, TB tests, and child and adult abuse registry checks, have a clean driving record, and an active driver’s license.

Schedule: Full-Time, available on the AM shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
