Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Cook at Lake Granbury Youth Services.

LGYS is a secure residential program for at-risk male youth, located at 1300 Crosland Rd, Granbury, TX. Our trained staff promote a normalized high school experience, offer a safe environment, and provide opportunities for positive change and growth. Our campus features residential dormitories, an on-site school and library, vocational training, medical facilities, and outdoor recreation areas. We welcome all passionate about making a difference! Pay: $17.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

What you will do: As a Cook, you will prepare and serve healthy, tasty food to youth and staff, maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness and safety, and be an active team player. Training will be provided; if you have related experience or ServSafe certification, you may start above entry-level.

To be considered, you should: Be at least 21 years old; pass criminal background, drug, physical, and TB tests; pass child and adult abuse registry checks; have a clean driving record and an active driver’s license.

Schedule: Full-Time, AM Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM.
