Job summary

Northwest Nursing Center is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents, following approved menus, dietary specifications, and resident preferences. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and presentation in a clean, organized kitchen.

Responsibilities include menu planning support, portion control, proper storage and sanitation, and accommodating dietary needs. You will maintain inventory, assist with ordering, and ensure timely meal service with infection control best

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in institutional cooking, healthcare, or food service preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
