Arden Courts Monroeville is hiring a PRN Cook

As a Cook, you prepare meals for residents and assist the Food Service Coordinator in managing food service functions. You strive to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable setting while serving appetizing and nutritious food. Since you are in contact with residents and families, tact, sensitivity, and professionalism are essential to guarantee their satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• Education: High School diploma
• Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly; ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Experience: Previous experience in food preparation
• License: N/A
• Certification: Food Service Sanitation certificate, as per State/Local requirements

Physical Demands

Ability to punch/pull objects and lift/carry up to 50 pounds unassisted. Must have full use of motor skills of upper and lower extremities. Ability to stand for prolonged periods. Sits, stands, bends, lifts during work. Subject to burns from equipment and odors.
