Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care San Antonio is hiring a full-time Cook

As a Cook, you prepare meals for residents and assist the Food Service Coordinator in managing food service functions. You ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable setting while serving appetizing and nutritious food. This role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to frequent contact with residents and families.

Job Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma
  • Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly; follow oral and written instructions
  • Experience: Previous experience in food preparation
  • Certification: Food Service Sanitation certificate as per state/local requirements
Physical Demands

Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and perform physical tasks involving gross and fine motor skills. Must be able to work around equipment and odors, and handle burns and other hazards safely.
