Job summary

NHC HealthCare Franklin in Franklin, TN is hiring a Cook for a mix of 5am-1pm and 12pm-8pm shifts, 2 days a week. This full-time role offers AM and PM shifts with a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment focused on quality and care.

Qualifications

• Healthcare food service experience preferred, not required.
• Banquet/Catering experience is preferred, not required.
• Ability to follow menus, recipes and production sheets.

Responsibilities

• Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies to prevent waste and assure quality products.
• Review's menus, recipes, and production sheets before preparing meals and portions.
• Follows standardized recipes and special diet orders, preparing sufficient quantities.
• Responsible for testing and tasting foods for proper appearance, flavor, aroma, and temperature.
• Supervising when needed
