As a Cook at Salt & Marrow, you will play a key role in delivering our signature guest experience.

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of kitchen operations, health and sanitation standards, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties (70%)
  • Prepare menu items, sauces, salads, and desserts according to recipes and instructions.
  • Set up restaurant and employee cafeteria buffets.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, including proper labeling and storage of food items.
  • Open and close the kitchen as needed.
  • Assist with banquet preparation and buffet setups.
  • Supervise and assist dishwashers and pantry staff.
Support Duties (20%)
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors in English.
  • Follow company policies and attend required meetings.
Professionalism and Communication (10%)
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Actively listen to team members and communicate effectively.
  • Adapt to high-pressure situations and demonstrate personal accountability.
Qualifications
