Job Description:

• Follow standard recipes and preparation methods as established, maintaining a clean and orderly workplace and cleaning the immediate area after completing a task.
• Ensure that reach-in and walk-in refrigeration units are clean and organized, along with all other storage areas.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Present food according to plating specifications while maintaining high-quality and productivity standards; ensure specified portions are used in all preparations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and greet guests in a friendly, positive manner.
• Conduct yourself in a manner that reflects credit on Harrah's and Horseshoe while encouraging others to do the same.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Cook's Helper.
• Maintain high-quality standards.
• Be reliable and hard-working.
• Effective communication skills with service staff, other cooks, and helpers.
• Ability to prepare food items consistently.
• Physical mobility to stand and walk throughout the shift, including pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to move easily around the property, including in confined spaces, with reasonable accommodations.
• Flexibility with schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
