Job Overview
The Lead Cook plans, prepares, and provides quality food service in line with standards and plating guides. They direct, train, and monitor Cooks, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, and promote a positive guest experience, embodying La Cantera Hill Country Resort’s culture.

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
  • Follow health regulations and hotel standards
  • Coordinate with chefs on assignments and staffing
  • Prepare menu items according to recipes
  • Assist and communicate with team during shifts
  • Ensure proper storage and minimize waste
  • Complete opening and closing duties

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum three years kitchen experience
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in upscale hotel banquet or restaurant settings required
