Overview
The Lead Cook is responsible for planning, prepping, and serving quality food, training staff, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. The role involves promoting the La Cantera culture and ensuring excellent service.
Essential Job Functions
Monitor cleanliness, adhere to health regulations, coordinate with chefs, manage staff schedules, prepare menu items, communicate changes, ensure kitchen startup and shutdown procedures, minimize waste, and maintain proper storage.
Qualifications
High school diploma required, with at least three years of kitchen experience. Supervisory and upscale hotel experience are preferred, along with customer service background.
