Position Details

The Cook position is located in a school setting. Responsibilities include preparing and serving food according to the daily menu and recipe standards.   • Ensure food safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Prepare and cook food based on recipes and specifications provided by the Chef/Genuine Foods.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely food preparation for service.
  • Maintain a clean working environment and assist with cleaning duties.
  • Keep the work area stocked and organized.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Must be flexible and team-oriented.
  • Minimum 1 year of line cook or culinary experience.
  • Willing to learn USDA National School Lunch Program compliance requirements.
  • Possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and level-headedness.
  • Punctuality and adherence to attendance policies are required.
