Job Details

Facility: GSS MN Inver Grove Ctr
Shift: Varies
Schedule: Full time, 34 hours/week
Salary Range: $19.65 - $24.56 + Sign-on Bonus of $5000

GSS-Inver Grove Heights is a 46-room facility offering long-term care, skilled nursing, and post-acute rehabilitation services.

Job Summary

Prepares and cooks food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors, adhering to menu and dietary guidelines. Ensures food quality, sanitation, and proper storage. Operates kitchen equipment and documents HACCP procedures to ensure food safety. Communicates effectively with team members and works independently when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Minimum six months of applicable experience preferred
• Food safety certification may be required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required

On-the-job training provided. Must be able to stand for long periods and walk considerable distances.
