Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining is hiring immediately for a full-time COOK at Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA. The shift runs from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, with weekends required. Location is 26 Powderhouse Road, Groton, MA 01450 and online applications are accepted only.

Prior 3 to 5 years of restaurant experience is preferred. We provide training and offer a benefits package including free meals, uniforms and laundering service at select locations, plus an internal referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous 3 to 5 years of restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting standards, ensuring proper temperature and appealing presentation.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains cleanliness, and stores or discards excess food properly.
