Compensation Range: Anticipated base compensation rate is in the range of $23.00 - $24.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Department: 834000 Dietary

Expectations: The job is responsible for patient nutrition care activities including but not limited to the following:

  1. Preparing food per recipes/production sheets and setting up in a designated area per department standards.
  2. Taking food and refrigeration temperatures, recording on appropriate logs, and noting any actions taken to correct issues.
  3. Cleaning and sanitizing per department standards.
  4. Participating in department and hospital performance improvement activities.
  5. Participating in team and/or department meetings.
  6. Attending required/mandatory in-services.
  7. Complying with hospital/department policies and procedures, including all food safety regulatory standards.
  8. Plating and serving prepared food for patient tray delivery.

Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent.

Experience/Training: Minimum two years of experience, five years preferred, in food service training or two years of supervisory experience.

Skills: Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
