The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Cook III to join the Food & Beverage Team!

Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point, adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in California's surf culture and is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff, featuring over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and beverage outlets, including 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining.

Shift: Various – must be available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour, based on experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Cook III, you will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and monitoring quality control for hot food items to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Responsibilities include:

• Prepare, maintain, and monitor quality control for hot food items such as meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, and seasonings
• Prepare food according to recipes and standards
• Prepare guest orders efficiently and courteously
• Maintain cleanliness and food sanitation standards
• Inspect all food sent from the kitchen for quality and presentation
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures according to regulations
