Job Title: Cook III

Reports To: Sous Chef and Banquet Chef

Position Description: Responsible for preparing and cooking food according to established recipes, maintaining high quality standards, and effectively managing a specific cooking station within a kitchen, while demonstrating strong culinary skills and adhering to food safety regulations. Your ability to work efficiently, maintain a positive attitude, and collaborate with team members is key to ensuring satisfaction. Your attention to detail and exceptional communication skills will be essential in this role. Full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions are available. The hourly rate is between $18.00 - $20.00 depending on experience.

Standard Requirements

  2. Acts as a role model within and outside the Club

  4. Communicates regularly with supervisor about department issues
  5. Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
  6. Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position
  7. Maintains confidentiality of all data
  8. Meets department productivity standards
  9. Training in culinary arts school or apprenticeship with professional chefs, 1- 2 years of relevant professional cooking experience
  10. In-depth professional knowledge and skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Produce all necessary food for operation as determined by culinary management team
  1. Ensure ordering for food station is adequate and inform Kitchen Manager immediately of product shortages
  1. Maintain the highest of quality in all aspects, from freshness of product, to product presentation
  2. Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and designated station
  3. Prepare a wide variety of dishes
  4. Comply with established internal and local health and safety procedures and codes
  5. The proper use, operation and maintenance of all kitchen equipment
  6. The proper use of all production lists and control systems/activities
  7. Adhere to all standards and policies established by management team
  8. Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
  9. Promptly reports equipment and food quality problems to Kitchen Manager
  10. Uses our Standard Recipe Card for preparing all products
  11. Performs any additional duties as assigned by supervisor
