Job summary

Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa is seeking a motivated cook to join our culinary team in Orlando. You will prepare and cook menu items, adhere to recipe standards, and maintain high safety and sanitation practices across stations.

The role requires 2 years of cooking or food-handling experience, the ability to stand for long periods, and the strength to lift up to 50 pounds. We value integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic in our kitchen staff.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of food handling or cook-related experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED or 1 year in a similar role with knowledge of restaurant practices.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure all food is prepared, stored, and served in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and plating consistency.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of workstations and equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.

Qualifications
  • 2 years of food handling or cook-related experience is required.
