We’re Looking for a Cook II with restaurant experience.
As the Cook II with restaurant experience, you will be responsible for the bulk of food production including but not limited to soups, stocks, sauces, main dishes, starches, and vegetables. A Cook II should be familiar and able to execute the 7 methods of cooking, review their station, review any lists including but not limited to opening, closing and prep list. They should read and follow recipes and be able to execute basic soups, stocks, and sauces.
Position Summary: This is considered a line cook position with a higher skill set, time management, and organizational requirements. You will be responsible for the bulk of food production including but not limited to soups, stocks, sauces, main dishes, starches, and vegetables. A Cook II should be familiar and able to execute the 7 methods of cooking, review their station, review any lists including but not limited to opening, closing and prep list. You should read and follow recipes and be able to execute basic soups, stocks, and sauces. You should have the skills on each cooking station listed in the Pathway, and a Chef sign off on refined knife cuts.
