Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • An Entry Level Cook is a Culinarian in training; the full job description and all duties will be learned and practiced.
  • Utilize company F&B procedures, health department regulations, and federal guidelines.
  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Maintain food and labor costs.
  • Check freshness of foods and ingredients; ensure all recipes and portion records are followed.
  • Be aware of guest feedback scores and work to improve rankings.
  • Foster cooperation and respect among coworkers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Basic knowledge of cooking and preparation equipment.
  • Skills in sautéing, broiling, frying, roasting, butchery, garde manger, pantry, breakfast cookery, etc.
  • Culinary education or apprenticeship preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to stand and move quickly for long periods.
