Responsibilities

1. Assist the 1st Cook with food preparation.
2. Prepare stations properly and on time for each service period.
3. Ensure food is sent to the correct table promptly.
4. Cook food and prepare menu items according to recipes and standards.
5. Follow production charts closely.
6. Maintain cleanliness of preparation areas and equipment.
7. Ensure food freshness and quality, rotate stock appropriately.
8. Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
9. Estimate food consumption and requisition supplies.
10. Assist in menu planning considering costs and special events.
11. Keep records and understand the financial impact of kitchen operations.
12. Follow safety and security policies; report incidents.
13. Complete safety training and certifications.
14. Maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
15. Ensure professional appearance and confidentiality.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
