Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC is seeking a Cook II to lead quality food production across all menu items and specials in a fast-paced kitchen. You will plan, prep, set up, and execute dishes to the highest standards while adhering to plating guides and room standards.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of kitchen experience and 6 months in upscale dining, with strong communication and teamwork. This on-site role requires physical stamina and adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of food preparation or kitchen operations experience.
  • 6 months in upscale dining or steakhouse environment preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to work across all kitchen stations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sauces, menu items, and daily specials per recipes and plating standards.
  • Fabricate meat, fish, and poultry to meet menu specs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and work areas.
  • Coordinate with Room Chef on shortages and ordering when needed.
  • Deliver timely, quality dishes with consistency and speed.
