Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC is hiring a Cook II to deliver exceptional culinary experiences reflecting our high kitchen standards. You will plan, prep, set up, and execute quality production across menu items and specials, ensuring each dish aligns with plating guides and room standards.

You will work with the Room Chef to manage shortages, maintain cleanliness, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food preparation or kitchen operations experience required or preferred.
• 6 months of upscale dining or steakhouse experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes, plating standards, and directions from Room Chef.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sauces, menu items, and daily specials according to recipes and plating standards.
• Fabricate meat, fish, and poultry to meet specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per Health Department regulations.
• Provide timely guest service in alignment with the guest service culture.
• Support Room Chef and Room Manager and ensure compliance with policies.
