Job summary

Crystal Mountain Resort in Washington is seeking a Cook I to join its Culinary Operations. This entry-level role supports BOH duties for a specific outlet, follows recipes and chef guidance, and ensures standards of safety, cleanliness, and quality in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Housing may be available for eligible positions; ability to stand and work evenings, weekends and holidays is required. Join a team focused on guest experience in a premier mountain setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in kitchen operations.
• Ability to obtain WA Food Safety Card within 3 days of hiring.
• Stand for 8 hours and perform basic kitchen duties.
• Some outlets require intermediate skiing/snowboarding in winter.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to learn and develop as a culinary professional.

Responsibilities

• BOH operations for a specific outlet within Crystal Mountain Resort Culinary Operations.
• Follow recipes and chef guidance; adhere to SOPs and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and sanitation of station and kitchen.
• Deliver high quality and properly served food and beverages.
• Contribute to a positive public image of the outlet and Crystal Mountain.

Cookis responsible forBOH operations of a specific outlet within Crystal Mountain Resort Culinary Operations and works to provide the best possible guest experience within the restaurant.Followsrecipes, chef guidance on stations,Standard Operating Procedures,and all safety regulations. Responsible for the overall cleanliness, organizationand sanitation of his/her specific station, thekitchen as a whole,andforthe delivery of high quality and properly served food & beverage products.
