This job involves preparing food products such as main entrees, soups, and sauces in an institutional setting, utilizing basic and advanced cooking techniques, standardized recipes, and plating guidelines. The role requires meeting production schedules while adhering to health, safety, and sanitary standards. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the quality of food items, proper utilization and storage of food and supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and work areas. Experience with patient line and made-to-order restaurant-style plating is required. Food handling activities must comply with regulatory guidelines, with a focus on minimizing waste and maintaining quality.
