Summary:

The Cook I, Grab and Go ensures service standards are met and surpassed by creating a positive experience for your customers from the moment they enter the store by smiling, greeting, making eye contact, by providing customers with fast and friendly service, throughout their visit. This team member must be able to work fast, move from task to task and consistently maintain a clean and comfortable store environment all while positively engaging with customers and guest. They are also responsible for maintaining high quality standards while making sure all food items and ingredients are prepped, restocked and nicely displayed daily as assigned. Responsibilities also include processing transactions through the cash register system and accurately maintaining daily cash drawer. They are also responsible for preparing area to assure optimal standards are maintained throughout the store for service.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 2 years customer service experience with 1year of cashier experience.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Effective customer service skills.

  • Ability to follow recipes to maintain quality standards.

  • Ability to perform detailed assignments, follow directions, work under pressure. Readily adapt to change in routine and work assignments, and relate to patients, families, and inter- and intra-departmental staff.

  • Experience working with computers is preferred.


Certification/Licensure:

  • Must have City of Ft. Worth Food Handlers Card prior to employment.

  • Card must be current at all times during employment.
