Job Description

Assist the Executive Sous Chef in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and food production outlets by providing technical and administrative support.

Responsibilities
  • Support restaurant and sous chefs and supervisors.
  • Train staff and control quality and consistency of all food served.
  • Ensure stations are prepared 15 minutes before service.
  • Maintain appropriate supplies and assist in controlling food costs.
  • Learn all menu items produced by assigned stations.
  • Handle refrigeration and cold food service.
  • Assist in order production and product availability across outlets.
  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure staff adherence to safety and sanitation protocols, including Ecosure rules.
  • Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance of walk-in coolers.
  • Oversee daily food production and inventory checks.
  • Maintain food quality, safety, and consistency in line with hotel standards.
