Stay inspired by joining the stunning Conrad hotel located in the heart of urban DC as a Cook I!

This stylish and sophisticated Forbes 4-Star hotel features 360 rooms, 32,000 square feet of banquet space, and 5 food and beverage outlets, including a signature restaurant, rooftop bar, lobby bar, club lounge, and in-room dining.

Shift: Various – must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: $31.06 per hour, based on experience and location.

Medical Insurance Coverage Available for you and your family.

Union Position: This role is part of the Local 25 Union, requiring full availability. Schedule restrictions cannot be accommodated. Hours and schedule vary based on seniority and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food according to recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and food sanitation standards
  • Manage guest orders efficiently and courteously
  • Know menu items and ingredients
  • Stock and maintain food stations
  • Inspect all food sent from the kitchen
  • Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
  • Prepare requisitions for supplies and ingredients
