Cook I - Ciera Steak and Chophouse (Full Time)

Role Overview

The Cook I will support the kitchen by preparing all foods in the steakhouse, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and cook all items according to company recipes and procedures, including seasoning, finishing, and garnishing food items and entrees. Follow proper timing and sequencing of cooking operations to meet service standards.
  2. Perform basic cooking operations such as deep fat frying, broiling, steaming, sautéing, oven work, and food prep. Plate food items and serve large functions. Use kitchen tools and utensils effectively.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of your assigned work area.
  4. Assist other kitchen staff as needed.
  5. Properly store food items and kitchen supplies.
  6. Complete prep work for the next shift.
  7. Transport food and supplies to workstations as needed.
  8. Keep coolers and dry storage areas organized and clean.
  9. Provide guidance to team members and oversee task completion; may act as supervisor in absence.
