Job summary

The University of Iowa Health Care's Food and Nutrition Services is seeking a Cook I to perform a variety of tasks under direct supervision, using standardized recipes to prepare and serve meals in Iowa City.

This full‑time, on‑campus role offers a 5:00am–1:30pm schedule and a hourly wage of $17.93, with benefits including paid vacation, health and retirement options. Successful candidates will demonstrate basic reading and writing skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Job description

The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food and Nutrition Services is seeking a Cook I to perform a variety of tasks under direct supervision, perform general cooking duties using standardized recipes and perform other preparation and sanitation duties as required.
