Job summary

Vi at Silverstone in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a professional cook to join the kitchen team. You will prepare all types of food while maintaining a safe, clean workspace and assisting with stocking deliveries using proper rotation practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-quality restaurant or related setting preferred.
• Basic knife skills required.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handler certificate, as required.
• Must have a valid driver's license where applicable.

Responsibilities

Cook

Assist in preparing all types of food while maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary work area. You will also assist with receiving and stocking deliveries using proper rotational practices. May assist kitchen attendant as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience within a high quality restaurant, country club, hotel or senior living company preferred
• Basic knife skills
• Ability to handle kitchen equipment
• Use a Point of Sale (POS) system
• Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handler certificate, as required
• Must possess a valid and current driver's license, where applicable

Pay Range

USD $18.41 - USD $21.64 /Hr.
