Job summary

Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa in San Diego seeks a Cook I to craft culinary masterpieces for guests across our outlets. You will plan, prep, set up, and deliver quality service as part of the resort's heart of the kitchen.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of culinary experience, knowledge of basic cooking skills, strong communication, and the stamina to stand for long periods. AM/PM, weekend and holiday shifts required.

As a Cook I, you will get the opportunity to create masterpieces for all our guests to enjoy! Our cooks are the heart of our resort, using their skills and expertise to delight our guests with their culinary creations. Our cooks plan, prep, set up, and provide quality service in all areas of food production for our many outlets.

To be successful in this position, we're looking for an amazing people connector, who thrives on creating experiences and problem-solving. This role as Cook I requires skills such as patience, empathy, and a desire to provide excellent service for our guests.
