Sonesta International Hotels in New Orleans is seeking a Cook I to perform basic and intermediate cooking, including soups, sauces, stocks, frying and broiling, using our recipes. You will work across multiple stations and uphold safety and sanitation standards.
You will maintain clean work areas, portion and prepare meals, follow plate presentation, rotate stock, and support the team during busy shifts. A culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred, with ServSafe certification

The responsibility of the Cook I is to be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills including preparation of soups, sauces, stocks, frying and broiling.
