Oak Park Place in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents, adhering to dietary requirements and food safety standards. You will read menus, measure ingredients, and work with a small team to ensure meals meet quality and portion sizes.

Responsibilities include portioning, cooking according to recipes, cleaning and sanitizing areas, and supporting residents with a friendly, respectful service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of kitchen or food preparation experience preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation rules.
• Ability to understand recipes and calculate measurements.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Understanding or ability to learn the use of commercial kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities
